David Briggs
President and founder

As president of NRi, David is responsible for the overall development and strategic direction of the team. He draws on extensive entrepreneurial experience as owner of the largest mosquito control company in New England and the owner one of the country's largest privately-held lawn care franchises to guide NRi to success.

David is also responsible for team development, profitability, and marketplace development. An accessible team manager, David regularly interacts with the media and team sponsors.

John Gaumond
Vice President and Managing Director

John has been involved with AMA professional racing for over 20 years. Beginning in the 1980s he ran Pro National series and worked with top amateur riders to help them develop riding skills. At NRi he fulfills the same role, and is also responsible for operational management: crew maintenance, the NRi mechanics, engine builders and the suspension department. John also acts as chief talent scout. He has an uncanny knack for getting the most out of a rider.
Adam Noble
Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations

Responsible for sponsorship relations, campaign strategy, data acquisition and public relations. Adam works with all sponsors on product integration, retail sales, data management and fulfilling joint strategic goals.

Deb Torrence
Director of Amateur Racing

Responsible for NRi Amateur and Pro Am racing events, as well as rider training programs in our Amateur Development Program.

Deb has been involved in Motocross for more than ten years, managing some of the best amateur riders in the country. Her involvement with many local and national race organizations, such as Kawasaki Team Green and New England Motocross Association (NEMA), provide her with in-depth knowledge and numerous contacts within the industry.

Deb has developed an innovative personal training program designed to provide young riders with the skills and the confidence necessary to represent themselves — and the team — in a professional manner when interacting with sponsors, the media, and the general public.
Brad Maher
Director of Sponsorship Development

Responsible for developing sponsorship programs that meet the specific needs of our sponsors. Brad also works closely with out marketing team and creative director in support of sponsorship initiatives.

Brad has over 20 years experience in affinity and partnership marketing. He has worked with BancOne, BlockBuster, and Sally Mae Home Loans. Additionally, Brad created sponsorship programs for USA Olympic Hockey, Swimming, and Volleyball development teams; select NHL, NBA teams; and the credit card program for Major League Soccer.

In 1999 Brad founded Partnership Resources, LLC that specialized in creating and identifying revenue generating program for the collegiate marketplace. Clients included the University of Southern California and the U.S. Air Force Academy. He has been a speaker at various conferences and is a current Board Member for the Alumni Association at Babson College.
David Waugh
Creative Director

David is the driving creative force behind NRi's promotional materials, web site and overall branding efforts. With 25 years experience in publishing, advertising and marketing design, including 7 years as online art director at Computerworld.com, David is well-equipped to create the distinctive look for any custom partner program, co-brand, or identity project a partner may desire.

In 2005, after 20 years in the corporate world, David launched his own web design studio, Design Ideas. He has designed numerous collateral and online projects for Dell, Microsoft, Nokia, Intel, Oracle, NaturaLawn of America, IDG, EH Publishing, and many other national and international companies.

His work has garnered awards in both editorial and advertising design.
